Vehicle Licensing

If you have recently bought a new vehicle, you are legally required to have it registered. This law also applies to off road vehicles such as dirt bikes and snowmobiles. At Ardiel Agencies, we have the experienced staff and forms required to guide you through the process. Proof of Insurance: Obtain insurance from your insurance company.
Drives Licensing
Report
At the time of renewal, which must be done in person, you will surrender your current licence. A temporary driver's licence, which is valid for 30 days, will be issued stating that your driver's licence is in the process of being printed. Your new Driver's Licence will then be mailed to your home address in 2 - 3 weeks.
Land Titles
Report
At Ardiel Agencies we provide a land information service. A "Current Title" search will identify the present owner and show all registered interests in the land. Examples of registered interests include outstanding mortgages, builders' liens, easements and caveats. In order to obtain a current title search simply come into Ardiel Agencies with the legal description; plan, block and lot.
Vital Statistics

Before you can be married in Alberta, you must obtain Marriage Licence. This gives you the legal right to get married anywhere within the Province of Alberta & at any time within three months from the date the licence was issued. Both parties must be at least 18 years old, if younger than 18, parental consent is required.
Alberta Health Care Insurance Plan
Report
If you are moving to Alberta from elsewhere in Canada, you are eligible for AHCIP coverage on the first day of the third month following your date of arrival. You should register within 3 months of arrival. If you apply later, the effective date of your coverage will be determined when you register.
