Manitoba Regional Health Authority offers up to $1177 a week in exchange for government home care services. With these funds, you can hire a care company to manage your care. You decide who comes into your home, when they come in and what they do.
Medi-Blue Benefits include coverage for assisted care services provided by a person regularly employed as a professional health care aid, home care worker, or homemaker (not a relative) when prescribed by the attending physician.Payment is limited to $40 per day, to a maximum of 14 days per illness or injury.
