The Dynamic Room has been Sudbury, Ontario's premier dance and performing arts studio since our grand opening in 2017. Our mission is to cultivate passionate, driven artists through comprehensive programs tailored to all skill levels, from recreational dancers seeking creative expression to competitive athletes pursuing excellence. Our faculty comprises certified professionals with expertise in RAD, Acrobatic Arts, and Progressing Ballet Technique, who have earned 19 choreography awards and 263 overall accolades in just two seasons. Recognized as Sudbury's Best Dance School (2018) and Favorite Sports Organization (2019) by the Sudbury Star Reader's Choice Awards, we maintain four state-of-the-art studios featuring sprung Rosco Adagio Marley flooring and dedicated learning spaces. We emphasize character development through dance, instilling values like teamwork, discipline, and time management while fostering lifelong friendships and creating cherished memories.Our inclusive environment welcomes dancers aged 3+ and prioritizes open communication with families, evidenced by our 2019 community recognition for exceptional parent engagement. Competitive Dance Training
Our competitive dance program develops elite performers through 8+ weekly training hours and multiple routines. Dancers participate in 3-4 out-of-town competitions annually, receiving expert coaching in choreography, technique, and performance skills. The program emphasizes character development alongside technical excellence.
Recreational Dance Classes
Recreational programs offer creative expression for children aged 3+. Classes focus on fun while developing foundational dance skills, coordination, and confidence in a supportive environment. Parents consistently praise our welcoming atmosphere and qualified instructors.
Preschool Dance Program

Co-Director
Certified in ADAPT, Acrobatic Arts, and Alixa Flexibility, Cassidy co-founded The Dynamic Room after establishing herself as Northern Ontario's top dance instructor. Recognized for innovative choreography and mentorship excellence.
Kelsey Labuckas
Co-Director
A certified ADAPT, Acrobatic Arts, and aerial arts instructor, Kelsey brings extensive competition experience to The Dynamic Room. As co-director, she focuses on technical training and artistic development for competitive dancers.
Sarah Baker
Ballet Director
Holding an RAD Diploma and PBT Certificate, Sarah leads our ballet program with expertise in classical technique. Her structured approach helps dancers develop proper form and foundational skills for advanced training.
Megan Pinkerton
Instructor
BAAT-certified instructor Megan specializes in creating engaging learning experiences for recreational dancers. Her patient teaching style helps students build confidence while mastering fundamental dance techniques.

I highly reccomend this dance studio. I was a bit nervous to put my child in dance, because I know absolutely nothing about it. However the staff and people at this studio have been nothing but welcoming. I am very comfortable to walk into this dance studio. We are just few months into the dance season and my daughter has already shown great growth in her confidence and I need to thank the instructor and studio for that. Keep doing what you are doing, you are all doing an amazing job !

This will be our first year with TDR, and I can’t say enough wonderful things about the studio already and the season hasn’t even begun yet! The owners are absolutely wonderful & down to earth, the staff in… general is fantastic! I could ask 100 questions (I’m sure I have..sorry lol) and we could just talk...& talk! It feels like a second home! The atmosphere is so great! I can’t wait to watch my daughter grow with her dance at this studio! Thank you for welcoming us to the full time company/ family!

This studio is a professional, disciplined, yet fun and positive place to learn dance. Management are some of the friendliest people I’ve ever met and the teachers and choreography is high caliber and fresh. The facility is bright and very clean, multiple studios, washrooms and dressing room with lockers. If you want to take dance seriously and are aiming for the top, you must check out TDR!
