Our Spruce Grove dance studio provides dance classes for kids and adults seeking to build poise, confidence, technique and a love of dance. Friendships and bonds are formed to last a lifetime! All of our dancers are treated the same, whether they take 1 class a week or 10! The Dance Place is committed to providing high quality dance training in a non-competitive environment.
All of our students 6 years and older participate in local spring festivals and a year end recital. We do not require our dancers to take extra classes ie: stretch or conditioning, to participate. Adult and kids dance lessons emphasize musicality, coordination, and fun! Our instructors are experienced dance educators that continue to train and build on their craft.

The staff of The Dance Place are professional and experienced but above all endeavor to make your child's dance experience fun and enjoyable. With proper dance training your child will experience a physical activity that will inspire dedication, teamwork and discipline, as well as other qualities that will last long after their dance classes are over.

Shayna has been dancing since the age of 5 years. She has trained in a variety of genres including Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Musical Theatre and Hip Hop. She continues to grow as a dancer and teacher by attending workshops and conventions. She has performed in many comptetitions and festivals across Alberta where she was recognized with many top achievement awards.

Miss Patty started out as a recreational dancer at the age of 12. Her dance journey began by taking part in Louis St. Laurent Catholic School's Fine Arts program for grade 7 - 12, where she received training in various styles of dance such as Jazz, Contemporary, Ballet and Modern. Our of curiosity, Patricia auditioned and performed in her very first Hip Hop group; Louis Crew in 2011.

Acro dance is a style of Acrobatics used specifically for dancers. It is a beautiful fusion of classic dance technique and the precision and athleticism of acrobatic elements. Often defined by unique choreography, acro dancers seamlessly blend musicality, emotional expression, line and extension with acrobatic movements in a dance context.
