Past Exhibitions
Report
Noni Kaur welcomes guests with an antidote of sweetness. She holds the viewer through a sensory experience by asking "how do we navigate these spaces?" Her work is a living piece formulated through a process of sensual expression and a rich fluidity of domestic rituals. As the work grows roots, patterns organically form while the artist straightens her spine to expand her reach.
Engage
Report
The AGM seeks to foster community, transcend disciplinary boundaries and provide spaces where alternative modes of thought are supported and activated in tangible ways. This takes place through our exhibitions, collections and experimentation in contemporary culture. Importantly, it takes place through our efforts in community engagement.
Border crossings
Report
By using stories and narratives as our main resource, we aim to fuel alternative ways of seeing across a broad range of physical and cultural contexts. The project celebrates the Art Gallery of Mississauga's commitment to bringing people and communities together using art as a common denominator. The stories are personal and powerful, giving the audience access to personal histories and realities.
