Our RV sites accommodate all rig sizes with options ranging from unserviced to full hookups including sewer, water, and 30 AMP power. Over 100 sites feature shaded parking, fire pits, and proximity to modern amenities. Guests enjoy convenient access to downtown Drumheller and nearby attractions while maintaining privacy within our tree-lined grounds.
Cabins
Ten rustic yet comfortable cabins sleep 2-8 guests with modern conveniences including kitchenettes and private bathrooms. Each unit requires minimum two-night stays on weekends and includes bedding, cooking supplies, and recreational access. Recent guests praised the clean facilities and proximity to local attractions like the spray park and swimming pools.
Tenting Areas
44 shaded tent sites offer fire pits, picnic tables, and treated water access in a mature river valley setting. Two dishwashing stations and firewood sales support camper needs while free Wi-Fi and laundry facilities provide modern conveniences. The fenced grounds ensure safety while maintaining natural surroundings.
Trailer Rentals
Fully equipped trailers include bedding, kitchenware, and climate control with full service site fees. Units sleep up to four guests with strict no-pet/no-smoking policies and detailed usage guidelines. Reservations require minimum two-night stays on weekends and security deposits for equipment protection.
Bubble Tents
Unique bubble tents feature one bedroom with double bed and pull-out sofa for four guests. These unserviced units include bedding and outdoor fire pits with strict weekend minimum stays. Located in shaded areas, they combine novelty accommodations with traditional camping elements in our river valley setting.
Questions
What amenities are included with my reservation?
All sites include fire pits, picnic tables, and access to washrooms/showers. RV sites have full hookups, while cabins include kitchenware and bedding.
Can I bring pets to the campground?
Pets are prohibited in trailers and bubble tents. Please inquire about pet policies for RV and tent sites before booking.
What are cancellation policies?
RV/tenting cancellations within 7 days incur $10 fee; cabin cancellations within 7 days have $20 fee. Trailer rentals require 2-week notice for $50 fee.
Are there nearby attractions?
We're directly across from the World's Largest Dinosaur and within walking distance of Drumheller's downtown, spray park, and swimming pools.
What are check-in/check-out times?
RV/tenting check-out at 11:00 AM, cabins at 11:00 AM, trailers at 2:00 PM. Bubble tents check-in at 4:00 PM.
Do you offer seasonal passes?
We focus on nightly rentals during our seasonal operations (April-Mid September) rather than extended passes.

Great little campground. The included amenities are terrific (showers, toilets, drinking water) as well as full hookups. We use a tent, so we didn't use the hookups. There's not a lot of seperation between campsites and it gets a little crowded when it's busy. But the location is great and at night, it does feel like you're in the bush. I was definitely skeptical when we arrived, but my opinion definitely changed after the first hour or so.
Go. Camp. Get outside. You'll feel better. This is a great place to do it.

Do you want to take your baby/toddler camping but a little nervous? River Grove is the perfect place to try out glamping! Cabin #10 is highly recommended as it sleeps 6, and is spacious and comfy! Perfect for a friends/family trip - my toddler and senior parents both slept very well :)
The campground itself is very well maintained and lots of walking paths for a curious toddler to explore - the staff were extremely friendly and helpful during our stay. The public bathrooms are very clean, there is a laundromat, playground, and even an arcade! This will be our annual cabin spot from now on. Thanks

Our go to campground every-time we visit! Its a great spot only down side this year is I wish people would slow down when driving through 10km is the max speed and we have see people go through going at almost 30! This is a very kid friendly campground to be doing more then 10km!

Needs more work and maintenance. Nice location, but showers & toilets definitely require updating. Wifi was very good.
Garbage bins were full and should be emptied more often, awful smell....
Sites were large but the neighbor's sewage outlet was too close to our picnic table...

Really enjoyed our stay. Site was nicely treed, space was big enough for our 5th wheel and slide out. Cute and cozy. Has an arcade for kids and play area. Check in was quick and easy and it was a quiet and enjoyable night. Would definitely stay again.
