Ballet Instruction
Our ballet program follows the Cecchetti syllabus, teaching foundational techniques that develop strength, poise, and grace. Students learn proper body alignment and classical movements while building discipline and artistic expression. Classes are available for ages 5+ with progressive levels to accommodate all skill levels.
Jazz Classes
ADAPT-certified jazz instruction focuses on dynamic movements, strength development, and performance quality. Students master isolations, syncopation, and choreography while building versatility across different jazz styles from traditional to contemporary fusion techniques.
Tap Training
Using Al Gilbert and ADAPT methodologies, our tap program teaches rhythmic precision and musicality. Students learn to create percussive sounds through specialized footwear while developing coordination and timing across beginner to advanced levels.
Acro Dance

Cecchetti-certified instructor with Advanced 1 certification. Angelica brings Royal Winnipeg Ballet training and performance experience with Druzhba Ukrainian Dance Ensemble to her ballet and character dance instruction for all levels.

My daughters both love dancing here! The instructors are all very passionate about teaching. They are amazing at motivating the dancers to do their best and work hard. Both my daughters feel very comfortable being part of the dance family!

My daughters have been involved with SBDC for 12+ years. They offer first class dance training, in a friendly learning environment in all genres & levels. They offer recreational, exam syllabus, competitive, boys classes; classes for beginners: very little beginners and even adult beginners!
