Since 1986, Heritage House Law Office has been serving our community from our location at 92 Ochterloney Street, downtown Dartmouth. Previously known as MacIntyre MacKinnon, our name reflects the fact that our office is a heritage building built in 1871.

Blair MacKinnon
Report
Blair grew up on a farm in Brooklyn, Prince Edward Island. After completing his undergraduate degree at Dalhousie University in 1969, he served as a regular member of the RCMP for five (5) years. He then entered Law School and graduated from Dalhousie Law School in 1977. After admission to the Nova Scotia Barristers' Society in 1978, he began his practice in Dartmouth and has practiced continuously in Dartmouth since then.
Cheryl Arnold

Born in Halifax, Cheryl graduated from Mount Saint Vincent University with her Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in 1997, followed by her LLB from Dalhousie University in 2001. Cheryl was called to the Nova Scotia Bar in 2002. Cheryl is an associate of the firm and practices primarily in the area of Family Law.
Lisanne Jacklin

Lisanne was born and raised in Halifax. She graduated from Saint Mary's with a Bachelor of Arts and from Dalhousie with a Bachelor of Laws. She was admitted to the Bar in 2002 and joined Heritage House Law Office in 2005. She has a general litigation practice, which includes Personal Injury, Family Law, Estate Litigation, Construction Law, Property Disputes and Wrongful Dismissal.
David Morrison

As a young person, David knew that whatever career path he took, helping others would be his primary goal. As it would happen, his path led him to the law field, where today he finds great satisfaction in helping his clients by providing a wide range of legal services with both attention and care. David grew up in central Halifax, but has been happily living on the "Darkside" in Dartmouth since 2012.
