During your initial consultation, Dr. Jacoby's staff will review payment options including reputable finance companies in Canada that support patients who are planning a private surgery. The B.C Medical Services Plan does not cover the cost of cosmetic surgery. There are some exceptions which can be reviewed in consultation with Dr. Jacoby.

Dr. Michael Jacoby is a Canadian Board Certified Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon who has been in practice since 1998. Dr. Jacoby is pleased to be providing Cosmetic Surgery services in the Kamloops community where he and his wife are raising their active family.

As a Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Jacoby has extensive expertise in all types of Breast Surgery, Abdominal Surgery, Eyelid Surgery, Liposuction Body Contouring, Ear Surgery, Botox and Mole Removal.Most procedures are safely performed as day surgery at the Kamloops Surgical Centre where Dr. Jacoby currently serves as the Medical Director.

Many of Dr. Jacoby's patients wish to have their abdominal and breast surgery done on the same operative date; patients often refer to this type of combined procedure as the "Mommy Makeover". In the appropriate patient, combined procedures offer the significant advantage of having only one recovery period and the satisfaction that all of the patient's pregnancy and weight related changes are corrected at once.

Breast Surgery enhances the body contour of a woman. It is also commonly performed to correct a loss in breast volume following pregnancy or to balance breast size when a significant size difference between breasts exists. Breast augmentation is accomplished by surgically inserting a breast implant either behind the chest muscles or behind the breast tissue.
