Since opening in 2001 Body 'N' Sole has been owned and operated by Nikki MacGillvary Bsc, C Ped (C), C Ped Tech (C), a certified and experienced Orthopaedic Technologist and Pedorthist who hails from Cape Breton. Nikki studied at the University College of Cape Breton (UCCB), where she received a Bachelor of Science degree and then a Certificate of Orthopaedic Technology.
She then continued on to the Nova Scotia Institute of Technology (NSIT), where she received training in Medical Laboratory Technology. She has also received extensive training from Orthopaedic Surgeons and Technologists to become one of the few Certified Orthopedic Technologists in the Halifax/Dartmouth area.
