What makes Rainbow Academy truly special is the instructors at the centre. Not only are the owners of Rainbow Academy certified Early Childhood Educators, but the staff there participate in regular professional development sessions along with other educators and teachers in Peel Region.

Our unique full-day program offers a caring and stimulating environment designed to meet the individual needs of each child. Personalized schedules, feeding times and daily charting help each child to develop at their own pace. Time is spent both indoors and outside, and children are encouraged to explore their world in a safe and loving environment.

Our toddler program provides activities and materials that help children become more independent, build up their ideas of self-worth, and involve themselves in the interaction and the communication of small groups.

Preschool Learning

The goal of the preschool program is to encourage children to expand their thinking and problem-solving skills, to make them happy and engage them in intellectual activities such as learning the perception of the colors, shapes, upper and lower case letters from the alphabet and numbers, learning to tell time, learning a few beginning sounds of the words and writing some letters, simple science activities and so much more.
Kindergarten Club

Language development includes reading and writing as the basic form of learning, as well as, music, circle time, puppet shows, stories and poetry. Our Children learn the alphabet by learning the sounds and symbols of each letter. Reading is being taught in a form of phonogram booklets, phonetic cards and puzzle words.
