As a comprehensive ophthalmology practice, we care for patients of any age starting at birth. We assess muscle and vision development in children. We help college students and working adults treat dry eyes, computer vision syndrome, allergy eyes, and offer smart solutions with LASIK, glasses or contacts.
And for older adults, we treat a full range of conditions including cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic eye disease and other retina diseases. Most of us move through our day without really thinking about how much we use our eyes. That's ok. It's our job to help figure out what will give you the best vision for your lifestyle.

New Patient Forms

During your first visit you will likely have your eyes dilated. This means your eyes will be light sensitive, so please bring a pair of sunglasses for your drive home. If you don't have sunglasses, we will provide sun wraps for you. When your eyes are dilated you will still be able to drive, but your reading vision will be blurry for a few hours.
Patient Stories
Report
Being able to see the game, without contacts or glasses, was amazing! We are so thankful to Dr. Waters and his staff, especially Michelle, for making such a comfortable, smooth transition with LASIK happen. Not only do they do a phenomenal job during checkups and surgeries, but they also make you feel so at home.
Types of Vision
Report
If you have emmetropia it means you have ideal distance vision and don't need lenses to correct your vision. If you are nearsighted it means that you can see well up close, but things at a distance appear blurry. Nearsightedness occurs when the cornea (the front of the eye) is too steep, or the eye is too long, and the light rays focus in front of the retina, rather than on the retina as they should.
Macular Degeneration
Report
Macular degeneration (AMD) is the general term for a group of disorders affecting the macula, the central part of the retina in the back of the eye. The macula is responsible for central vision, seeing fine detail, and helping distinguish colors. With macular degeneration the retinal tissues break down resulting in loss of central vision.
