Our premium camping sites measure 48x52 feet with a mix of 30 and 50 amp electrical service. Pull-through options available with panoramic views of Merigomish Harbour. Wi-Fi access and firewood delivery included. Un-serviced tent areas also available.
Cottage Rentals
Modern two- and three-bedroom cottages with full kitchens, private decks, and BBQ facilities. Each unit features comfortable sleeping arrangements and modern bathroom facilities. Perfect for families seeking comfortable accommodations with scenic views.
Outdoor Pool
28x56 foot saltwater pool for guest enjoyment. Lifeguard-free facility with safety guidelines posted. Adjacent to recreational areas with walking trails and scenic viewpoints. Seasonal operation from May through October.

Weekly organized activities including theme weekends and special events. Family-friendly programming designed to enhance guest experiences. Schedule varies seasonally with opportunities for community interaction and local exploration.
Convenience Store
Located just 1 minute from camping areas, our store offers essential supplies, snacks, and beverages. Gas bar and liquor store available for guest convenience. Operational during peak camping season.
Questions
What are your check-in and check-out times?
Check-in begins at 2 PM, check-out by 11 AM. Early arrivals and late departures may be accommodated based on availability.
Do you offer refunds for cancellations?
Full refunds (minus $20 fee) available when cancelling 5+ days before arrival. No refunds for weather-related issues or early departures.
Are pets allowed on the premises?
Pets are welcome but must be kept on leash and under control. Pet owners must clean up after their animals and ensure they don't disturb other guests.
What amenities are included with sites?
All sites include fire pits, picnic tables, and Wi-Fi access. Electrical hookups (30/50 amp) available in serviced areas. Water and sewer connections vary by site.
Are there recreational facilities available?
Yes! We feature a saltwater pool, playground, basketball court, volleyball area, walking trails, and weekly planned activities for all ages.
Can I use cannabis on the property?
Cannabis consumption is restricted to private sites. No smoking/vaping in common areas like playgrounds, trails, or washrooms. Marijuana plants prohibited on premises.

This is so far the best campground we stayed in! We had full service (water, electricity, dumping) and the best view. The washingsrooms were clean and renovated (it still smelled like renovated, but that's normal) but I'd recommend to adjust the timer for the lights, because when I took a shower the lights went off after a short amount of time. The pool was clean and the Wi-Fi wasn't slow at all. There are some mosquitoes, so I'd recommend a spray or a net to avoid getting bitten by them.

Lots of space for trailers and great for the kids. The only downfall. Not enough bathrooms(2 in the ladies and 2 in the men's) and no handicap bathrooms and bathrooms were not clean at night time like the mornings.. Night time the bathroom by the pool there is LOTS of spiders.

This is the first bad campground we have stayed at since getting to Canada. Biggest problem is, its currently almost 1am and there is loud music, people drunk and cursing, singing one minute yelling the next. When we got here we waited 30min for someone to show up at the office. Tracked down a worker and even he couldnt get anyone on the phone. They never answer the phone, just let it go to voicemail. Unsupervised children run around all day, and Their drunk parents run around all night. Washers r broke. Lights in restroom r motion activated and leave u in the pitch dark while your taking

Bathrooms were filthy, no toilet paper in one bathroom stall, out of 2 stalls, for at least 24 hours. bathrooms appeared to be cleaned once on the weekend we were there and that was after we complained. we were told we would have wifi on our tent site before we booked, as we have 3 teenagers and it is nice to have the wifi as an option, found out when we got there the only wifi was by the bathrooms and at the main lodge! who wants to sit by the bathroom or the main lodge??! not a very comfortable camping experience. would not recommend this campground to anyone! we saw no one 'walking' around,

Excellent location and views next to ocean, very helpful staff and owner. Gas bar and convenience shop next door. Pizza available to order and firewood is delivered. 12/10 would stay again when in the area. Yes there are bugs, there is a wetland around part of the grounds, taken care of by Muskol, Thermacell, campfire and the ocean breeze in the early evening.

At the start of the off-season after the long-weekend (Sept) there was no problem pulling in to get a spot. Most were seasonal campers on site, and friendly when you passed. There was WiFi listed, but we were not able to connect, that may have been our own choice to be closest showers, washroom and pool. The sunsets were amazing. Face the water and watch the sun go down...
Stayed two days, read the reviews about Mosquitoes, and it was true, however I had a 2 hour early morning walk while they were sleeping. Put a small antenna up and got two TV channels, and a dump site was provided before departure

We love going to Cranberry Campground because of the views and the beauty of the place, the large campsites and the great staff who are always trying to be helpful to campers. The manager assures us that they are doing their best to be a family oriented campground, and provides lots of weekend activities for families, especially children, to participate in. They have theme weekends which are popular, nice facilities for laundry and showers, and a great, clean salt water pool with easy access for anyone to enter.
