Coombs Country Campground is a 34-acre RV park and campground located just 5 minutes from Parksville and Qualicum Beach on Vancouver Island. Established to provide authentic camping experiences, we cater to diverse campers including RV owners, tent enthusiasts, and over-winter visitors. Our 100 fully and partially serviced sites offer proximity to local attractions like Tofino while maintaining a rustic atmosphere with amenities such as a 2.5-acre lake, heated pool, hot tub, and nature trails. We prioritize guest comfort with clean facilities, pet-friendly policies, and seasonal activities, ensuring memorable stays for families, adventurers, and long-term guests.

RV Camping
Our RV sites offer 30/50 amp power, water, and sewer hookups. Choose from pull-through or lakeside locations with proximity to amenities like the heated pool and hot tub. Ideal for short-term and over-winter stays.
Tent Sites
Pitch your tent in shaded woodland or lakeside areas. Sites accommodate single or group camping with access to clean showers, restrooms, and recreational facilities like playgrounds and hiking trails.
Glamping Rigs
Stay in pre-set RVs with amenities like queen beds, TVs, and high-speed internet. Available for daily, weekly, or monthly bookings, these units provide comfort without sacrificing rustic charm.
Monthly Stays
Fully serviced sites for snowbirds and long-term guests. Rates from $7001,700/month include power, propane, and internet. Pet-friendly with hydro meter charges based on usage.
Over-Winter Stays
Book full-service sites or RV-in-place units for winter months. Amenities include heated pool access and proximity to local attractions. Reservations require a deposit for stays exceeding 28 nights.

What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 1pm to 10pm. Roll-out is by 11am.
Are washrooms and showers available year-round?
Bathrooms and showers are closed for winter until May 13, 2025.
Can I book monthly stays online?
Monthly stays require contacting the office directly for assistance.
Are pets allowed?
Pets are welcome but limited to two per site with a care contract.
What amenities are included with RV sites?
Amenities include power hookups, water, sewer, and access to pool and hot tub.

We have been at this campground for 18 months. The management team is very helpful and attentive to the campers needs. The maintenance team is full of dedicated staff keeping the grounds in good repair. There are nice walking trails which meander around the park. The pool, playground, lake area and arcade are well-used by families during the summer months who appear to enjoy these amenities. We would highly recommend if you want a getaway location for your RV and yourself that you give this campground a chance.

We really enjoyed our month stay here. Laura greeted us with a smile when we checked in. Really nice for exploring all the beautiful sights in the area. Everyone we met was really nice and 10 minutes to the best off leash park in Qualicum Beach. Hope to get back next year!

Kind of a late review. We stayed at this campground for 2 months last winter while we were house shopping. It was terrific, just what we needed at the time and the owner and staff were very accommodating. I would recommend this place for anyone visiting the Island.

This place is great for a stranded snowbird! Second season missing the desert but this place compensates. All amenities you'll need. Close to grocery and goats in town. Very clean and nicely wooded compared to to similar campgrounds. Recommended! :)

We had a wonderful time at Coombs Country Campground! We were greeted with a a smile and felt very welcomed. We rented a fully serviced lot beside the playground and our friends stayed in a tent on the same lot. The playground was very popular, so many kids having a wonderful time. We took advantage of the little lovely lake as well. At the end of our stay the pool opened which was very exciting for the kiddos. We will definitely be coming back.

It's always my favorite campground to take the family. The lake is wonderful, there are so many activities on the grounds in addition to the local market, and the staff are world-class. Every year they make us feel at home-away-from-home and before we know it, the weekend is over. Can't wait to see you all again soon!
