Great staff and selection of meats and groceries, when ever we're in the city we pick up a cooler of meats from cantors

We have been shopping for most of our meats for the past 30 years or more, but the quality of the meat and service has gone downhill badly over the past couple of years. You can get ground beef at other places for a much cheaper price. The last 2 or 3 times we have gotten pork ribs there, and had them cut for either bbq or sweet sour, they have been very poorly cut and we are throwing out 30% as they were inedible they way they were cut-a lot of fat and gristle. We will be looking to get ribs elsewhere, probably at a cheaper price as well.

I haven't been at their store in a while , but we get their meat at the Freshco by reenders and it's definitely excellent .
