Josh Cull has been in the green industry for over 25 years. He earned a B.S. in Plant and Soil Science, with emphasis on Turfgrass Management from the University of Kentucky. Prior to joining our team, he spent 20 years as a golf course superintendent and has helped prepare courses for 9 different PGA Tour events, including 2 major championships.

Lawn Fertilization

We use only slow release granular fertilizer products, unlike some of the national lawn care companies who use liquid fertilizers so they can apply multiple products in a single mixture. We use slow release fertilizer to provide steady availability of nutrients, to reduce the chance of burning your lawn, and to reduce leaching.
Weed Control
Report
Liquid applications of broadleaf weed control are generally done once in May and again in September. These broadcast applications are the most effective way to deal with dandelions, clover, and a host of other broadleaf weeds. We will also spot treat weeds as needed while doing fertilizer applications.
Pest Control
Report
There are two approaches to grub control - preventative and curative. Prevention is usually done in June and early July, while curative is done when the grubs are actively feeding in the fall. Both are granular insecticide applications that should be watered in shortly after the application is made.
