Owner Randy Hnatuk has been practicing the art of meat cutting since 1990 and he will be happy to provide you with the custom cuts and traditional favourites you've been craving. Stay tuned for our seasonal turkeys, hams and other products, available through order forms.

Since 1995 The Better Butcher and owner Randy Hnatuk have been on a mission to deliver the finest quality, sustainably raised meats to Calgary customers. Our goal is to support a meat industry completely free of hormones and antibiotics. In this endeavour, The Better Butcher's suppliers come from local farms in Southern Alberta who are as committed to ethically raised livestock as we are!

Mountain View Poultry is located just west of Okotoks and supplies The Better Butcher with free-run broiler chickens. Their poultry is not fed antibiotics and they process the birds they raise in their own provincially inspected plant. Ewe-Nique Farms raises their lambs free-range on the lush pastures of their family farm in Southern Alberta.
