Welcome to Uxbridge Vision Care with optometrist Dr. Ron McMullen. We have provided personal, professional eye and vision care to residents of the Uxbridge area and Durham Region since 1986. We are proud to be a part of the Eye See. Eye Learn! program for JK students, sponsored by the Ontario Association of Optometrists, the Ministry of Health, and supported by Plastic Plus Labs and Modern Optical eyewear.

Subtle and not-so-subtle problems with sight can affect our ability to learn, enjoy activities, or work. Optometrists are university-trained health care practitioners, specializing in examining, diagnosing, and treating diseases and disorders of the visual system and related structures. They are your primary eye and vision health doctors. Dr. McMullen is a local resident, born and raised in Claremont, just south of Uxbridge.
Examination Services
Report
Examination fees for those under 20 years of age and those over 65 are covered by OHIP. As well, patients with diabetes, cataracts, glaucoma, and other specified conditions are also covered. In addition to standard examination equipment, we also offer retinal imaging with our Canon digital retinal camera and software system.
