Your Trusted Local Grocery Store in Hartland, NB
Valu Foods was founded in 2009 by Richard and Trena Orser, who brought decades of combined experience in retail and business management to create a community-focused grocery enterprise. Starting with a single Hartland location, we expanded in 2014 by acquiring Centreville Freshmart, transforming it into a second Valu Foods store to better serve rural New Brunswick. Our commitment to local communities is reflected in our partnerships with regional farmers, addition of NB Liquor outlets, and support for over 200 annual tourist buses through our management of the Hartland Tourist Bureau.

We prioritize customer safety with daily sanitization protocols and offer convenient services like Wednesday/Friday home delivery. With additional amenities including Irving Gas Stations, Greco/Captain Sub shops, and pharmacy access, we strive to be a one-stop destination while maintaining our core values of quality, accessibility, and community stewardship.

Fast, friendly, and accurate service from the moment my order was sent by e mail right up until the groceries were delivered to my door. Special thanks to Abby for being so great!

Moderate prices, since they are technically a "Convenience store", that is actually a grocery store. That also sells gas. (Irving)
But they are open until 10pm all week, and there's not a whole lot of places in the area that's open until 10 pm on a Sunday.

Not my regular store but a very nice selection of items. In store bakery leaves a lot to be desired. Staff seems very friendly. Easy parking and has fuel pumps on site.
