Brett Bartelen Whitehorse Optometrist
We hope you enjoy your visit to our office as much as we enjoy the privilege of providing your eye care. You will find the neighboring Loblaw optical has excellent pricing and an onsite lab for your convenience. They carry many popular brands of glasses and contact lenses. Whitehorse Optometrist Inc. is 100% locally owned and operated and is independent of the neighboring optical.

This means you will receive your prescription at the end of the exam along with an understanding of any changes or health concerns that have been encountered along the way. Our business counts on providing you the care you deserve and earning your word of mouth referral. We have invested in the technology and tools needed to provide the best care possible.

Diabetes
Report
Stable and low blood sugar levels are important to maintain the health of the retina. Dilated retinal assessments provide an insight into the general health of your vascular system throughout your body, not just your eyes. It is recommended that people managing diabetes be examined on an annual basis.
Glaucoma
Report
The information received by the eye travels to the brain through nerve fibers. If the nerve tissue becomes too thin portions of a person's vision can become diminished. It is important to assess the general condition of the nerve fibers as well as monitor the pressure of the eye to promote lasting vision.
