A Lethbridge company has been in the business of making those memorials and markers for more than a century now. Mulock says they make the memorial using the same process now as they have used for decades.

Did You Know; Memorials made of light-colored granites, such as Laurention Pink, Mountain Rose and Standstead Grey need to have the lettering and design painted black in order for them to show up properly. The amount of time this paint will last varies depending on the weather and location, but it usually only lasts about 10 or 15 years.
