Ethically Sourced Coffee & Community-Driven Roasters in Wolfville, NS
Since 1995, we have been pioneering ethical coffee roasting as Canada's first fair trade organic coffee roaster. As a worker-owned cooperative, our commitment to social justice and environmental sustainability drives every aspect of our operations. Our founding members from Wolfville, Nova Scotia, established this business on the principle that exceptional coffee must respect both people and the planet throughout its journey from seed to cup. We exclusively source beans from small-producer-owned fair trade cooperatives across the Global South, ensuring ethical practices and premium quality. With over 30 years of experience, we've grown to include three retail locations in the Wolfville area while maintaining our core values of community empowerment and environmental stewardship.

Our product range includes organically grown, fair trade certified coffees available in various roast profiles, along with teas, sweets, and brewing equipment. Through our worker-member model, we create meaningful employment opportunities while advancing our mission of global equity. Our cafes provide spaces for community connection and showcase our full selection of ethically sourced products. Recognized as the first coffee roaster worldwide to join the Small Producer-Purchased (SPP) certification model in 2011, we continue to set industry standards for ethical sourcing. Customer testimonials consistently highlight our coffee's exceptional flavor profile and our dedication to making a positive impact through every purchase.

Popped into Just Us! Coffee last month while in Wolfville, NS, for the Devour Food Film Fest. Just Us! was lovely and very inviting. I loved the colourful artwork, ample seating, and lots of natural light. We were visiting at the end of October so it was quite cold but I imagine in the summer months they can roll up the large bay doors for fresh air and coffee on the patio. There were lots of interesting wares and goods to look at for sale while I awaiting my pumpkin spiced latte. Of most interest to me were the coffee bean plants! I had literally never seen coffee beans growing before

Would have given it 5 stars because I love their coffee and service is good not great at this location. Why 2 stars, well first of all I want to add I understand it's the country there will be flies however this was disgusting, a couple of flys trapped in the pastry display so gross, turned me off from buying any food items. The single washroom closest to the barista bar is disgusting so many flies hovering around the toilet. I understand that when the staff isn't trained properly what can happen. Also they don't care if it looks run down and unhygienic.. their coffee is delicious

I love this location. The staff was very friendly and there is lots of seating inside the atrium of an old movie theatre. I'm glad they could revive this old space to a great cafe to bring your friends, family or work on your laptop.

I've been going there for a year now and quite honestly I would have given it 5 stars back then but just yesterday I went on my business and dropped in for an Americano and to get a bit warm before I head out of town. Anyways.
It's an interesting concept of a coffee shopped attached to a theatre in what is considered downtown Wolfville. There are 2 rooms with plenty of sitting space. It could be a winter thing, but this place has gone downhill since the last time I was there and I don't mean drink wise, but the interior... I sat on a wobbly table that had traces of the last 5 people
