Truro Tennis Club
Truro Tennis Club is a non-profit community organization open to anyone who wants to play tennis. We are a friendly bunch, welcoming any new members, whether you're new to the game and have never swung a racket or a competitive player looking to take your game to the next level. We have tennis programs for all ages and all levels of play.

Our season depends on the weather, but generally runs from May to November. The clubhouse at 12 Palmer Street, at the entrance to Victoria Park, is staffed from May to August. Truro Tennis Club operates and maintains 6 hard courts (4 lit with LED lights) and a clubhouse. It runs programs and events for all ages and levels of play.

History
Report
The Truro Lawn Tennis Club was established by Isreal Longworth some time before 1890, making it one of the oldest surviving tennis clubs in Canada. The earliest known record of the club's existence is its 1889 slate of officers archived in the Colchester County Historical Museum. T.L.T.C. opened its membership to the broader community in 1892, in an attempt to make the club more competitive.
