I stop here while on my way to Manitoba with my dog and cat. Melissa was amazing in that she offered to supply me with a dog bed and bowls so my pets would feel comfortable. The room was very clean, homey and reasonably priced. I would definitely stay here again. I also liked that there was a grocery store across the street so I could walk over and grab some snacks.

Love this place. Friendly owner, nice clean rooms and great location just off the trans Canada highway. The renovated room was nice and modern with a doggy bowls and a bed that my dog loved. Theres a grocery store across the street and a great little cafe a minute walk away (with great coffee, home baking and pizza). So, instead of driving into Thunder Bay, stay here.

Decent price and clean but the room we had down the side was very worn and old (bathroom especially) and pretty basic.

Older motel, some of the front rooms appear renovated but they put us in one of the back rooms that hadn't been updated. Very creaky, steel tub etc but very clean. Linens looked new. Updated TV. Clean fridge and microwave etc. Great for the price!
