After 7 years of providing treatment to the children, spouses and civilians of the Canadian military in Germany he set up his practice in Newmarket in 1988.

Dr. Matt Paradisgarten grew up in Thornhill. He completed his Bachelor's degree in biology at Princeton University in 2011 and went on to receive his degree in dental medicine from the University of Pennsylvania in 2015. In dental school, he was selected as one of only 3 students to complete a concurrent Master's of Higher Education.

Our highly trained dental hygienists and certified assistants take time to show you how to handle and care for your braces whether traditional or Invisalign.

Our mission at Newmarket Orthodontics is to provide excellence in orthodontics in a comfortable and friendly environment. Our orthodontic office uses state of the art equipment and advanced sterilizations systems. We use latex-free gloves to avoid problems for our latex sensitive patients. Using latex-free gloves also prevents the development of latex sensitivity.

These restrictions allow us to offer the most flexible hours for regular adjustments and check-ups of braces and other appliances. If you need to change your appointment, please call our office as soon as possible. Once orthodontic treatment is started, the regular appointments are usually 5 to 8 weeks apart.
Financial and Insurance

Our fees are affordable, in combination with high quality service and care. We believe that we offer great value in orthodontics. There is no fee for an initial consultation. However, there would be a fee for diagnostic records if they are taken at the initial consultation.
If you or your child is covered for orthodontics through insurance, we will be happy to provide all of the documentation needed for you to collect the maximum benefit that you are entitled to under your plan.
