Tender Treasures Montessori School is based on the educational philosophy and academic methods of Dr. Maria Montessori. Maria Montessori's philosophy states that children should be free to work at their own pace with materials they have chosen, either alone or with others. Between birth and the age of six, children are able to acquire specific skills with an ease that will never be duplicated in later life.

Our Curriculum

At Tender Treasures Montessori School we are committed to a positive learning environment that provides an enriched educational experiences for all children. Our curriculum is based on developmental as well as age appropriate curriculum activities that are geared toward small and large group activities focused on each child's abilities and needs.

This beautiful two story building is over 12,000 square feet, designed with state of the art technology. Our school is home to an infant program (ages 6 weeks - 18 months) two toddler programs (ages 18 - 30 months) and three Casa programs (ages 30 months - 6 years). Our school is equipped with a spacious playground, and an in house kitchen which serves nutritious meals to all of our students.

This unique program offers a caring and stimulating environment designed to meet the individual needs of each child. Personalized schedules, feeding times and daily charting help each child and parents to develop at their own pace. Time is spent both indoors and outdoors and children are encouraged to explore their world in a safe and loving environment.
Preschool

We offer a five full-day program so your child can continue to build upon the learning experiences and foundations acquired in our Toddler Program. The younger children in the Casa Program are ready to learn many new concepts including colors, shapes, numbers, size, position, patterning, sequencing, vocabulary, and listening skills.

Tender Treasures Montessori School is happy to receive resumes from RECE, Supervisor, Montessori Teachers, Assistants, Cook or individuals trained in childcare who are currently looking for work. We welcome applicants from a variety of training backgrounds as we feel this will enrich our program and help us create an interesting and challenging environment for our children.
