But for its role in developing agriculture in western Canada no other wheat can compare with Marquis Wheat.
Marquis Flower Shop started in the Marquis Hotel building in 1931 and later moved to 6th street downtown when the hotel building was closed down. From there the business moved to it's current location near the corner of 3rd avenue and 9th street south. We believe we are the last known business in the City of Lethbridge that is still in operation under the Marquis legacy.

It was 1931 when Marquis Flower Shop opened for business to serve customers in Lethbridge and Southern Alberta.
