It was a decent stay with potential to be great. You can tell that they are short staffed and trying to save money on repairs, heating, and keeping the restaurant stocked. Too bad, because this could easily be a higher rated hotel with little investment in repairs and streamlining the menu.

Hotel rooms were nice but the pool was over concentrated with chorine. Our 2 kids got chemical burns on there legs and arms and cant see. We had to flush them out with water and use eye drops. We talked to other couples with children and they were having the same problems. The front desk workers do seem to care about it.

We stayed here twice for one night each time, both times in a jacuzzi room. The first room we got was pretty decent and clean but the second room we stayed in was rough. We tried to get food from the attached restaurant 3 times but they weren't open during advertised hours, we even tried to call in an order before we arrived but they were closing 2 hours early. The room layout was awesome and the staff was great! It's the nicest place we've stayed in at Fernie, thus far and will continue to stay here. If we only stayed the first night, it would of been a 5 star review. (I didn't factor in the restaurant
