Thirteen Moons is a Women's Wellness retreat near Peterborough, Ontario. This past weekend I attended this amazing place with 6 girlfriends in honour of my friend, Dr. Emily Howell's 40th Birthday. I have never been to a Wellness Retreat and I really had no idea what to expect. On top of that this place is vegetarian.

So this week I was at a retail store where they were gearing up to do inventory. They asked me to come in to review safe lifting techniques - which by the way is a great idea. Although many people have been taught this along the way it is always good to review. And I find that the more people you get information from the more you remember and you tend to learn a different little tip from each source.

So we all know we as humans, for the most part, like the beach or waterfront for some reason. There must be some good reasons. Ok, I lied - this one is definitely number one. Many of the people who will eventually receive or read this post met me at first because I gave a talk in front of them at work about stress.

Like most of us, you are probably sitting in front of a computer at least part of the day. If not a computer, maybe a tablet or a phone (these are even worse since you probably aren't in an ergonomically designed set up for this). If so, you probably have had some achy neck and shoulder pain in your time.
