Established in 2014, Dance With Me Toronto is a professional ballroom and Latin dance studio owned and operated by Egor Belashov, a 2008 Canadian National Professional Ballroom Champion. We offer flexible scheduling with extended hours from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.Monday through Friday and Saturday mornings by appointment. Our studio features mirrored walls, professional dance floors, and ample free parking for client convenience. What dance styles do you teach?
We offer 15 dance styles including Ballroom (Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot), Latin (Cha-Cha, Rumba, Salsa), Argentine Tango, and Wedding choreography.
Are lessons available for complete beginners?
Yes! Our instructors specialize in teaching absolute beginners with no prior dance experience. Many of our students start with zero background and progress to confident social dancers.
Do you offer wedding dance preparation?
Yes, we create customized wedding dances with multiple practice sessions. Many couples receive standing ovations for their professionally choreographed first dances.
What are your studio locations?
Our main location is at 149 Denison St, Markham with additional classes available in Woodbine & Steeles area locations.
What should I wear to dance lessons?
Wear comfortable clothing that allows movement. For footwear, choose shoes with smooth soles that stay securely on your feet during turns.
Can I try a lesson before committing?
Yes, we offer free trial lessons to experience our teaching style and facilities before enrolling in lesson packages.

I started dancing at the studio in February 2020 in a Latin Group Dance, then COVID happened and the studio was closed. However, Egor managed to do online classes with some of his students during the lockdown. It was amazing dancing online via Skype. All the sessions were recorded and we were able to see ourselves dancing. Egor critiqued us all and gave great tips on improving our steps and how to hold our postures. I learned a lot on what I was doing wrong and have become a better dancer, all due to Egor's critical eye :) I have also taken up private ballroom dancing which is the highlight

We reached out to Egor to help us coordinate our wedding dance. We were delighted with the routine that was developed. Our routine was about 2 mins 40 secs long to the song cruisin by Smokey Robinson. The choreography was kept within our general skill level since we only started 1 month before the wedding date, but the choreography developed was elegant and definitely entertained all our guests. We recommend that you reach out to Egor for your wedding dance routine if you are planning one, and to start it at least 2 months in advance of the wedding date.

My partner and I worked with Egor for our first dance at our wedding. We had a wonderful experience! Egor choreographed a beautiful first dance for us. We had lots of fun at our practice sessions and appreciated Egor's flexibility and ability to break down the steps and make sure we were getting it right. At our wedding when we stepped out for our first dance, everyone was so surprised, as we had not told anyone we had a choreographed first dance! The effect was awesome and people have since brought the dance up several times. It was definitely a highlight, especially when we pulled off the lift

Egor did an amazing job teaching a beautiful 3-min wedding 1st dance choreography to me and my husband in just 2 weeks (4 classes)! He is very enthusiastic, easygoing and above all, super knowledgeable and professional! He adjusts the moves according to our preference and comfort level and is very easy to communicate with. We are total beginners and found his method of teaching very easy to follow and thoroughly enjoyed the whole process.
