Your Premier Summer Tennis Destination in Ontario
Southampton Tennis Club has been a cornerstone of summer tennis in Ontario since 1956, offering a comprehensive range of programs and facilities for players of all ages and skill levels. Founded by Irwin 'Fawcett' Warder, our club has grown from humble beginnings to feature 15 well-maintained hard courts across three locations, including our historic Uptown Courts and modern Beach and Warder facilities. Our volunteer-driven organization, governed by a dedicated Board of Directors since 2002, maintains a strong commitment to youth development and community engagement through initiatives like our Junior Executive program. With certified instructors who have progressed through our own ranks, we provide expert-led group lessons, private coaching, and specialized programs like Cardio Tennis that combine fitness with skill development. Our facilities include two clubhouses offering racquet rentals, tennis ball sales, and convenient booking systems for both casual play and permanent court reservations. As a not-for-profit organization, we prioritize accessibility through flexible membership options and no hourly court fees while maintaining our founding principles of fair play and personal achievement. Our legacy of excellence is evidenced by decades of junior tournament success and our role as a social hub for both local residents and visitors. We continuously invest in facility improvements, including our current Beach Courts refurbishment initiative, to ensure top-quality experiences for members. From beginner lessons to competitive tournaments, our programs foster lifelong tennis enthusiasts while upholding our core values of inclusiveness, integrity, and community spirit. This enduring commitment to quality and accessibility has made us Ontario's premier summer tennis destination for over 65 years.
