We now have three new works by Donna in the gallery, and each are as distinctive and impressive as these works. We are very pleased to have an original Will Allister work, Vazen, on consignment in the gallery. Will Allister passed away a few years ago but everyone who knew him praised him as a great artist and wonderful person.
After surviving horrific confinement and brutality during WW2 as a prisoner-of-war, he went on to marry and have a very successful career as a writer, filmmaker and artist. However, the recurring nightmarish memories that threatened at one point to overwhelm his life with bitterness eventually gave way to profound forgiveness and an embrace of all the world's peoples and cultures.

Hong Zhu was born in Shanghai, China. She started her training in visual art at an early age when she was selected to study at an educational center for gifted children. Later, she became the youngest artist at prestigious Shanghai Arts & Crafts Research Institute where she perfected her skills for painting and traditional Liu-Ching bamboo carving.
