Lockeport Cottage
Report
This cottage is our first. The other cottages were designed from this one so it's special to us. Although it doesn't have the skylight in the bathroom, it offers the guest it's own unique view of Birchtown Bay. The bathtub is two person whirlpool. The campfire pit is also situated so you and a loved one can have your own private view of the water for that romantic evening under the stars.
Birchtown Cottage
Report
Named after the area it over looks, the Birchtown cottage is themed with our Black Loyalist history. During the American Revolution slaves were promised freedom and land if they helped the British fight the rebels. When the war ended in 1783 those former slaves who were promised land were sent here to Shelburne Harbour.
Cape Sable Cottage
Report
Nicknamed the "honeymoon cottage", this cottage has the most private views. It features the skylight over the airjet tub and is designed with a fishing theme because Cape Sable Island has a rich fishing heritage and is the birth place of our famous Cape Sable Island fishing boat. For those interested in birding and our fishing culture, Cape Sable Island is one of the best places to see it all in real time.
Cape Roseway Cottage
Report
The Cape Roseway cottage boasts the best views of Shelburne Harbour. With large mature oak, birch and pine trees the view also looks down on your campfire pit set beside the ocean. Guests enjoy watching the kingfisher birds in the summer months swooping down to catch the mackerel that swim by. Or in the winter months watching the Whistler ducks swimming in groups of thirty or more.
