Canada Heavy Equipment College is registered as a Private Career College under the Private Career Colleges Act, 2005. With accumulated experience of over 100 years in the Construction & Transportation industries, our staff and instructors have "real" transport and construction industry know-how. Some of our instructors also have related experience in the Canadian military.

Heavy Equipment Operator

The program schedule will include hands-on instructor demonstrations and practice to learn commonly used construction techniques (building a berm, digging a trench, sloping, V ditching etc.). Grader is primarily used in construction and snow removal; prepares surfaces for road building, road maintenance, parking lots, airport runway and access routes, all typically used prior to road asphalt activities.

Tractor Trailer (AZ) - You will be taught all practical aspects like: proper turning, blind spots, reversing, loading, driver courtesy, coupling/ uncoupling trailer etc. that relate to the current truck driver. You will operate in the city and on the highway to experience realistic conditions in your preparation to be a professional truck driver.
AZ with Construction Operator

The combination of Transportation and Construction Operator certificate program will provide the maximum exposure to a variety of work opportunities and incomes. This starts you off in the "Drivers seat." You train with a "hands-on style approach". Our instructors teach you all you need to know and more, about the equipment, how to maintain it, as well a variety of industry operational techniques.
