What foot conditions do you treat?
We treat all foot and ankle conditions including sports injuries, diabetic foot care, pediatric issues, bunions, fungal nails, and chronic pain conditions.
Do you accept insurance?
Podiatry services are covered by most extended health insurance plans. Laser nail treatments may be partially covered under podiatry benefits.
Are custom orthotics covered by OHIP?
OHIP does not cover custom orthotics, but most extended health plans provide partial or full coverage for medically necessary orthotic devices.
What surgical options are available?

I have been to the emergency department they gave me antibiotics and sent me on my way. Then a rheumatologist who suggested having my Dr refer me to a surgeon. I needed help sooner than later and my orthopedic shoe specialist "Sound Orthotics" who recommended Dr Lanthier in Sudbury. I called and was given an appointment as they just had a cancellation. I met with Dr Lanthier who suggested removing the ingrown toe nail and was able to do it right then. What a relief and a great bedside manner. Highly recommended.

After over 45 years with a foot condition, Dr Lanthier treated and cured me of my lifelong problem! It's fabulous not having sore feet. Both he and his staff are so easy to deal with. I highly recommend booking an appointment if you are having a problem with your feet or ankles.
