Services
Physiotherapy
Our physiotherapy services treat musculoskeletal injuries, post-surgical recovery, and chronic conditions. We use hands-on techniques to restore mobility while developing customized exercise programs. Our Alberta Health Services-contracted therapists work with patients recovering from joint replacements, fractures, and sports injuries. Treatment plans focus on restoring pre-injury function and preventing future injuries through progressive strengthening and movement retraining.
Massage Therapy
Registered massage therapy addresses nerve compression, postural dysfunction, and muscle spasms. Our treatments improve recovery times for athletic injuries while reducing stress and blood pressure. Sessions incorporate education on ergonomic positioning and home care strategies. We offer 30, 45, and 60-minute appointments with senior discounts available.
Kinesiology
Kinesiology services develop customized exercise programs for injury recovery and general fitness improvement. Our practitioners work alongside physiotherapists to ensure proper exercise progression. Sessions focus on improving strength, endurance, and mobility while addressing specific rehabilitation goals. We provide guidance on proper form and equipment use for both clinic and home-based programs.
Hip Replacement Program
Alberta Health Services-funded hip replacement rehabilitation includes one-on-one assessment and four follow-up treatments. Our therapists evaluate surgical healing, develop personalized recovery plans, and monitor progress through range-of-motion testing. Treatment combines manual therapy with progressive exercise programs to restore mobility and functional independence following hip replacement surgery.
Knee Replacement Program
Our AHS-covered knee replacement program provides assessment plus six follow-up sessions. Therapists assess surgical healing, develop individualized recovery plans, and use progressive exercises to improve mobility. Treatment includes gait training, strength building, and functional movement retraining to help patients return to daily activities following knee replacement surgery.

Trent is awesome helps a lot and knows his stuff. Helped me with my back long ago, now he is currently helping me with some carpol tunnel syndrome. Hopefully, that goes away and I'm quite optimistic about it; so long as I stay in his care.

Prior to booking my first appointment at South Edmonton Physical Therapy & Sports Rehab, I had tried out several other highly reputable businesses in the Edmonton area, but none came close to the service I received (and continue to receive) at SEP. The physiotherapists here are truly experts in their field. They are extremely knowledgeable, strong communicators who take the time to thoroughly examine, assess, and teach their patients in a clean, spacious, and relaxed environment. Trent and Kirsten have both gone above and beyond for my family on numerous occasions for a variety of issues (tendinitis

I've been training for marathons for years and have been to plenty of physiotherapists. This is a good clinic IMHO! I went here on the recommendation of my massage therapist and was not disappointed
I was seeing Henry for a series of related lower leg injuries (started with plantar fascitis and tight calves, shifted to an ankle impingement, it's been an adventure). He's been key to getting me running comfortably again!
