At Way West Water Taxi in Campbell River, BC, we have been providing water taxi service on the North Island since our inception. We booked on last minute for a Grizzly Tour up to the Klite River in the Toba Inlet.
It was an excellent experience. Our guide/captain Dave was very knowledgeable and experienced. We saw many bears up close, countless eagles and seals and a few whales along the way as a nice added bonus. Perfect rainy, fall day activity. This tour is nice because it allows you to actually get out and view the bears from numerous platforms above the river providing excellent photo opportunities.
