Acupuncture

Our physiotherapists are fully trained in acupuncture. During your assessment they will work with you to determine the appropriate treatment plan. According to the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH), Acupuncture can help ease chronic pain in the neck, lower back, and knees.
Pelvic Floor Physio

The pelvic floor is a set of muscles and tissues that are shaped like a hammock and located within the pelvis at the base of the spine. They provide support for our internal organs including the bladder, bowel, rectum, and uterus. Pelvic floor tissues are also important for stability of our hips and back, and sexual function in men and women.
Custom Bracing

At The Physio Spot, we provide both off-the-shelf as well as custom knee bracing to decrease pain and improve movement. We carry off-the-shelf braces for many different injuries and body parts. If we don't have the brace you need, we'll measure, order and fit one for you in a timely manner. Occasionally, there are some circumstances when a Custom Brace is recommended.
Manual Lymph Drainage

When health conditions cause a buildup of lymph fluid, manual lymph drainage can help remove the waste products away from the tissues. Our Registered Massage Therapist provides this treatment. Lymphatic Drainage Therapy (LDT) is a hands-on technique which enables practitioners to detect the specific rhythm, direction and depth and is designed to attain and sustain proper functioning of the human fluid system.
