Where you can view the Highest Tides in the World and just three hours later walk on the ocean floor. When the tide returns your footprints will be washed away like love letters in the sand. As you know we are located in south eastern New Brunswick along the Bay of Fundy coast, Alma, and Fundy National Park, about 45 minutes from Moncton International Airport and situated adjacent to the Hopewell Rocks.
Follow route 114 along the Bay of Fundy coast to Hillsborough where you will find a train museum, an 18 hole golf course, a drug store, a couple of convience stores and an information center. Then on to Hopewell Cape where you will find "The Hopewell Rocks", a museum in a goal, a potter and of course us, The Hopewell Rocks Motel & Country Inn.

The Bay of Fundy Tides are a force of nature to be approached with respect (please do not attempt this yourself). This demonstration was done with the utmost concern for safety. Swimming is not permitted at The Hopewell Rocks. Special Thanks to Alan for the kayak pizza delivery! The New Brunswick Adventures visit The Bay of Fundy - The World's Highest Tides.

The Rocks-(two minute drive from the Hopewell Rocks Motel & Country Inn) Other names given these massive rock formations is "The Largest Flower Pots In The World" where spruce trees grow on top. These formations are the result of 300 million years of battle like thundering of ocean against land, with the land being the conquered, shaped by its captor "The Mighty Bay of Fundy."
