Priska Welbers is the founder and owner of IMAGO DEI Child Care. She holds a Master's degree in Christian Education from Talbot School of Theology (Biola University), California, and has served as a youth pastor for several years. Before that, she worked with children for over ten years.
After taking an Early Childhood Education course (with an emphasis on the Reggio Emilia approach) at MTI Community College in Vancouver, she worked for more than three years as a teacher in a preschool, in Strong Start, and in an after-school program and continued her studies of the Reggio Emilia approach by taking more courses.

In caring for and guiding children's behavior, we ensure their safety and help them in developing their self-esteem, self-control, and sensitivity in their play and interactions with others. We aim to learn and grow together with the children on their journey of growth, change and development through their discoveries of self, others and God, and through relationship and interaction with one another.
Statement of Faith

The Bible (Old and New Testament) is Scripture, meaning that God inspired the writers to record what He wanted to communicate. It is the infallible, authoritative, and inerrant Word of God. And therefore the supreme and final authoritative rule for faith and practice. There is one sovereign God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Our staff are passionate and God-fearing ECEs who provide a warm and loving teaching and learning environment for children to grow and explore the world and all creation in it. All are certified Early Childhood Educators, have current Child-Safe First Aid certification and have undergone a Criminal Record check.
