The neuromusculoskeletal system is comprised of muscles, bones, tendons, ligaments, and associated nerves and tissues.
Acupuncture & Dry Needling
Report
Acupuncture is a type of Traditional Chinese Medicine used to promote healing in the body by placing needles along specific meridians and anatomical landmarks in the body. Acupuncture can help increase energy levels, improve function of affected areas, and decrease pain by releasing endorphins. While acupuncture can be used to treat a wide variety of conditions, we focus on acupuncture's ability to treat neuromusculoskeletal injuries.
Concussion Management
Report
Concussion management varies from person to person, as there are many factors that can affect recovery. Every person's experience after a concussion is different! In general, full rest (mental and physical) is recommended for the first 1-2 days after an injury. After that, your symptoms are monitored as you progressively increase physical and mental demands.
