Roy McMurtry Legal Clinic serves low income individuals, groups, and service providers in the counties of Stormont, Dundas, and Glengarry. As a network of 79 provincial legal clinics funded by Legal Aid Ontario, we seek to be a source of light, enlightenment, and a beacon of hope for those seeking justice.

Services are available in both English and French and are provided with the utmost confidentiality. Roy McMurtry Legal Clinic is a non-profit corporation, overseen by a board of directors based in the community. If you have a straightforward question, we may be able to provide you with an answer over the phone.

The services of Roy McMurtry Legal Clinic are free of charge to individuals and groups within Stormont, Dundas, and Glengarry Counties. We have four Ontario bar lawyers on staff to provide you with advice, consultations, and representation while upholding the strictest confidentiality. Your legal problem concerns an area of law we deal with (excludes family law and criminal law).
Employment Law & Workers’ Compensation

These services are available to low income individuals and groups within Stormont, Dundas, and Glengarry Counties. CPP & Old Age Supplement

If you have become disabled and have contributed to the Canada Pension Plan for a minimum of three years, you may be eligible for financial assistance. After your death, these contributions can be used towards CPP Survivor's Benefits. Many funeral homes also have applications available for CPP Survivor's Pension and Children's Benefits.
