However, if your bracing issue is not urgent we would suggest that you hold off on visiting the office until such times as the lock-down has been lifted. Your swift return to everyday life is our ultimate goal. That's why we work with other health-care professionals as part of a co-ordinated, multi-disciplinary team, making recovery as smooth as possible.

Custom foot orthoses are medical devices prescribed by a foot and ankle specialist. These are different from basic shoe inserts and arch supports in that they have two functions. FO's can be used to accommodate or offload a prominent area. This can be helpful for bursitis, calluses beneath bony prominences and ulcers.

Through the Assistive Devices Program (ADP), the Ontario government helps people with long-term physical disabilities pay for custom orthopedic devices and braces. Only Certified Orthotists are allowed to bill ADP for the provision of Orthotic devices. As Certified Orthotists our clinicians serve as both a registered Authorizer and Vendor and will assess your requirements on a case-by-case basis.
