About Us
Report
Hunt Club Chiropractic was established in 1988 by husband-and-wife team Dr. Yuri Chewpa and Dr. Marie Geschwandtner, who met while attending Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. As the years went by and more people needed help, they added Dr. Edward Quirk, Dr. Ian McIntosh and Dr. Hamza Saif to the team, along with Registered Massage Therapist Mikolai Chewpa.

Dr. Yurij Chewpa
Report
Dr. Chewpa always knew he wanted to work in sports injuries. He did his undergrad in kinesiology at the University of Waterloo and was deciding among physiotherapy, chiropractic and medicine. He always had a desire to work in the health care field, particularly with sports injury patients. While playing hockey at the university, he got injured and the chiropractor was able to help him.
Dr. Ian McIntosh
Report
As a teenager, Dr. McIntosh saw his mother struggle with fibromyalgia. No one in the health care community was able to help her. At the suggestion of a friend, she consulted a chiropractor who changed her life and that of her entire family. In later years, as a hockey player at Carleton University, Dr. McIntosh saw the team chiropractor for numerous sports injuries.
