When we take on the responsibility of caring for you or your family member, and when you invite us into your home, this is the biggest compliment our company can be given. It is for this reason that HomeWell Durham never hires anyone we would not welcome into our own homes. Each HomeWell employee undergoes comprehensive pre-employment screening that goes beyond the standard interviews and references.
Companions

Many of our companions are mature individuals who have experienced first-hand the stress and anxiety associated with dealing with a senior family member or friend. They completely understand the importance of having peace of mind when you are unable to be there yourself. Our team of companions realize how extra attention to the little things can make a huge difference to someone's life.
Personal Support Workers

All of our PSW's have obtained extensive training through a Certified Personal Support Worker Program. Their training includes: personal hygiene, bathing assistance, lifts and transfers, palliative care, mobility and safety training, dementia and Alzheimer care, medication assistance, household management and nutritional meal preparation training.
Care Managers

When you connect with HomeWell Care Services, be it through a referral or on your own, one of our Care Managers will work with you throughout the process. Our Care Managers' primary responsibility is to assess your needs and recommend the best possible care plan for your situation.
Because no two people, or two situations, are exactly alike, HomeWell works with each client to create an individualized care plan that pays attention to the things that are important to you.Your dedicated HomeWell Care Manager will take the time to get to know you to ensure that you are getting the help you want and need.

Care Services

We offer live-in and hourly care for seniors and older adults who want to remain at home but who may be struggling to meet their own needs as a result of aging, illness, or injury. HomeWell Care Services offers in-home care within the familiar surrounds of home whether home is a private residence, assisted living facility, retirement community, nursing home, adult family home or group home.
