Concussion Management
Our concussion management program addresses brain injuries through coordinated care with physicians. We use evidence-based protocols to treat symptoms like headaches, dizziness, and cognitive impairment. Treatment includes vestibular rehabilitation, visual system training, and gradual return-to-activity plans tailored to each patient's recovery needs.
Knee Braces
We provide custom-fitted Donjoy knee braces for ligament instability and osteoarthritis. These lightweight, durable braces offer support during physical activity while reducing pain and preventing further injury. Our specialists ensure proper fitting and provide guidance on effective use during rehabilitation.
Manual Therapy
Our manual therapy techniques include joint mobilization, soft tissue work, and muscle release techniques. These hands-on treatments improve mobility, reduce pain, and restore normal function by addressing restrictions in joints, muscles, and connective tissues throughout the body.
Sports Rehabilitation
This specialized program addresses sports-related injuries through biomechanical assessments and functional training. We develop sport-specific rehabilitation plans that restore strength, improve flexibility, and enhance performance while reducing future injury risk for athletes of all levels.
TMD Management
Our TMD management treats temporomandibular joint disorders causing jaw pain, headaches, and neck discomfort. Using joint mobilization techniques and muscle relaxation strategies, we help restore normal jaw function and alleviate symptoms affecting daily activities like eating and speaking.

Questions
What types of conditions do you treat?
We treat all musculoskeletal injuries and conditions including back pain, sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, TMJ disorders, and concussion-related symptoms using evidence-based physical therapy techniques.
Do I need a doctor's referral for physiotherapy?
Alberta physiotherapists are primary healthcare providers, so no referral is required. However, some insurance plans may require a physician's note for coverage verification.
What should I expect during my first appointment?
Your initial assessment will include a detailed history review, physical examination, and discussion of treatment options. The therapist will develop a personalized care plan and begin initial treatment during this 60-minute session.
Are your services covered by Alberta Health Care?
Community-based physiotherapy isn't covered by Alberta Health Care except through specific programs for recent fractures or orthopedic surgeries. Most private insurance plans cover our services.
Do you offer direct billing to insurance companies?
We provide official receipts for insurance claims but don't offer direct billing. Patients pay at time of service and submit claims to their insurance providers for reimbursement.
What locations do you serve?
We have three locations: two in Grande Prairie (Resources Road and 68th Avenue) and one in Beaverlodge, serving patients throughout the Peace Country region.
