Mah Hon Gardens delivered vegetables and bedding plants to many local stores and restaurants in Saskatoon. There was constant flooding of the valley before the Gardiner Dam was built and even winter presented challenges, such as the great snowfall of 1948. Mah Hon's son, Mah Choon, took over the operation with his wife Yea in 1950, and began to expand the business.

We truly appreciate it when our community identifies our Greenhouse space as a location in which they desire to use for a variety of private events, however, we do not offer our space for rent or lease.

At Floral Acres we offer learning experiences that allow children to understand plants and the people who care for them in a fun and interactive way! There are a variety of Tours to choose from depending on the desired focus and age level during the Month of June. Every tour consists of an educational walk through, followed by a planting and interactive handout for the children to take home.

Floral Acres Greenhouse and Garden Center is one of the best places to work in all of Saskatchewan! We cultivate 600 varieties of annual plants, 400 perennial varieties, and produce 40,000 hanging baskets seasonally! Our growing retail Garden Centre has departments in plants (annuals, perennials, herbs, vegetables, trees and shrubs, tropical plants), gardening supplies, garden furniture, and landscaping supplies.
