Dr. Mike Cain has worked as a chiropractor since graduating from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (1998). One of his big interests has always been sports and physical education. He holds a Masters in Sports Science (Sports Medicine) from the United States Sports Academy (1989). Prior to becoming a chiropractor, Dr. Cain was a lecturer at McMaster University in the School of Physical Education and Athletics from 1980-1994.

As a Doctor of Chiropractic, I am governed by the Regulated Health Professions Act of Ontario and licensed to diagnose and treat conditions involving the muscular-skeletal and nervous systems of the body. I don't use drugs or surgery, and refer patients for medical care when needed. The chiropractic philosophy is concerned with the restoration and maintenance of physical health and well being by utilizing a natural approach to health care.

Foot, ankle, knee, hip and low back pain can be the result of improper foot biomechanics. This "mechanical pain" problem can often be corrected/managed through construction of custom foot orthotics and orthotic footwear. Often a combination of electric modality treatment, spinal and foot adjustments are also required to realign and balance the body so that your orthotics can be most effective.
