Sonic Steel is a family-run business. We were incorporated in 1985 and at the time our company consisted of three people. We gained experience and knowledge by steadily increasing the size and complexity of the steel projects we undertook. Today, Sonic Steel Ltd. is one of the most well respected structural steel fabrication companies in the Lower Mainland.

We do our own steel detailing using the latest 3D modeling software to give us complete control over projects, which means we can maximize our productivity and meet even the most demanding schedules and exacting requirements. Sonic Steel also provides steel connection design and structural engineering design for all types of steel structures.
Steel Fabrication

Fabricating steel in-house is another way weave embraced efficiency at Sonic Steel. Our 15,000 square foot facility is fully equipped with the capacity to fabricate and erect 750 tons of structural and miscellaneous steel annually. This is where we turn ideas into actual components. We take precision and quality seriously, which is why we rely on the most up-to-date processes and have amassed a team of experienced, skilled employees.
Erection

At Sonic Steel, we proudly erect our own steel. Our qualified site crews include skilled ironworkers, welders and connectors who do the job right and with professionalism. Every member of our site staff has completed comprehensive safety training and adheres to our Occupational Healthy and Safety Programs, which outline procedures for safe steel erection.
