Being a co-creator and co-facilitator of Home Hospice Association's Infant & Pregnancy Loss Doula Training and Certification Program, and supporting parents in her community with one on one support before, during and after their loss. Merri-Lee provides services to clients from all over the Niagara Region and the GTA.

She lives in a country bungalow on an acre of land with weeping willows, a frog pond and her soul mate; this is their sanctuary. Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is an ancient Japanese form of energy healing that means 'Universal life force energy', the energy which is in us and all around us. To understand how energy healing works, it is helpful to remember that everything in our Universe is energy; our thoughts, our emotions, and our bodies are all made up of energy.
Dying Well

When someone learns they are pregnant, they find themselves in need of guidance, comfort, compassion and support, and so they invite birth professionals to journey with them; to monitor them, educate them on their options and help create and facilitate their birth plan. The very same support is needed when someone learns they are dying.
Grieving Well

It can be hard to understand what it that means; that someone we love has died, that we will never see them, touch them or hold them again. Somehow, the world seems the same, and yet it's so different because someone we love so dearly is missing. We may feel lost and incomplete, and even wonder who we are in life without that person.

The theory of this course is taught in one full day and includes a Level I Attunement, Reiki I Manual with introduction to the history and theory of Usui Reiki, learning about the chakras, and instruction and illustration of hand positions and how to perform Reiki self treatment, chair treatment and table treatment on others with adequate practice time.
